Supported a $10MM UL development with 4 wellpads, gas lift/oil pipelines, and major CTB upgrades. Issued IFC drawings in 60 days, coordinating with drilling, completions, and reservoir teams. Delivered full ME, EE, process, drafting, and project management scope.
Project Spotlight: Delaware East 14 Well Development and CTB Expansion
Our team supported the $10MM buildout of the University Lands Delaware East field near an existing CTB. The scope included four wellpads totaling 14 wells, test separation, 1.26 mile gas lift distribution, and a 1.26-mile 12″ bulk oil pipeline to the CTB. The existing CTB facility was upgraded with new bulk separation, equivalent length inlet header system, heater treater, VRT, VRU, air compression, water tanks, gunbarrel tank, and critical CVS/safeguarding improvements to meet Consent Decree requirements.
Piping systems included new gas lift, air, and effluent pipelines—utilizing Zaplok and FlexSteel—with full isolation, risers, and future-proofing for compression. Additional upgrades included sales metering, power extensions for rod lift, and staged gas lift compression installation under a separate AFE. Strategic off-site fabrication of wellpad skids minimized completion-to-flowback downtime and supported early production from both pads.
We issued a full for construction (IFC) drawing package in just 60 days, including time to collaborate with reservoir and production engineers, completions, and drilling groups to properly scope and align the project across disciplines and obtain AFE funding.
We delivered a comprehensive engineering, design, and project management package, including:
-
Project Management: Contact list, design basis, cost estimates, wellpad schematics, and production forecasting
-
Process Engineering: Simulation packages, heat/material balances, closed vent system and safeguarding studies
-
Mechanical Engineering: Full pipeline and facility hydraulics, stress calcs, PSV/flare/VRU/air compressor sizing, and containment specs
-
Electrical & Instrumentation: Power plans, cable schedules, grounding/lighting, area classification, and instrument index
-
Drafting & Design: Full 3D models, PFDs, P&IDs, isometrics, and structural drawings for the CTB, wellpads, and camelback risers—plus vendor packages and native files
This comprehensive scope enabled a seamless transition from AFE approval to construction and early production.
