Modular Facility Design Saves Millions in Eagle Ford

We developed modular wellpad systems with relocatable separators and piping skids, saving our Eagle Ford client ~$1.5MM per site. The design boosts efficiency, reduces costs, and accelerates production—positioning them as a leader in scalable facility execution.

Project Spotlight: Modular Facility Design Saves Millions in Eagle Ford

CUE EPCM partnered with a major operator in the Eagle Ford basin to develop a standardized, modular wellpad system tailored to support a multi-year drilling program. Our proprietary dual-separator skids and pre-engineered piping modules enabled rapid redeployment across new locations, delivering substantial cost savings and operational flexibility.

By designing the equipment for easy disconnection and relocation, our client was able to transfer six separators and two piping modules between pads—saving approximately $1.5 million in capital costs per wellpad.

This forward-thinking approach aligned with our vision:
✔ Fit-for-purpose engineering
✔ Safe, operable layouts
✔ Modular scalability
✔ Reduced construction and OPEX costs
✔ Accelerated time-to-first-production
✔ Improved environmental performance

For the upcoming developments in Karnes, De Witt and Lavaca counties, this modular strategy positions our client as an industry leader in cost-effective, scalable oil and gas facility design. And for CUE, it reinforces our commitment to building long-term client value through strategic engineering.
